Marriage and Couple Counselling

In my work with couples, I use Imago Relationship Therapy, an effective and safe approach to helping individuals and relationships grow. It presents a unique way of looking at and dealing with your interactions with your partner or spouse.

Understanding WHY you or your partner/spouse had an affair is a process that takes time. After infidelity, the focus is on answering the who, what, when, and where questions.

The answers to these questions are vital to help you to move through the stages of genuine forgiveness and trust.

However, beyond these, the one question that is the most significant is “WHY did they do this?” I use a 10-step programme that assists a couple to explore this vital question.

Individual counselling provides a safe space for individuals who struggle with personal issues to talk confidentially about their concerns and to work towards personal growth.

My approach focuses on helping clients to deepen their self-understanding and personal development. Self-awareness grows when one learns to experience feelings and talk about them.
Ultimately, clients develop a better relationship with themselves and others – as well as learning better coping strategies for life’s challenges.


Trauma Debriefing

After a significant incident, an unexpected or tragic loss, a near-death experience or a threat to your life and safety, trauma debriefing helps you to process the event, gain new perspectives, peace of mind, and to live your life meaningfully.

Trauma debriefing is not counselling – it is a structured interview that helps you to process the experience, and it provides you with practical strategies to cope with the after-effects of distressing experience.

Employee Assistance Programme/Employee Wellness

EAPs (or Employee Wellness) are employee benefit programmes offered by many companies and employers.

They aim to help employees deal with personal problems that might adversely impact their work performance, health, and wellbeing. They generally include short-term counselling of up to 6-8 sessions as well as legal and financial advisory services.
